During DW 2026, itens is launching its newest collaboration with designer and visual artist Marcus Camargo: the Pequi collection, with creative direction by Mariana Amaral.

The Pequi Collection is inspired by the Cerrado region and its artisanal traditions.
The collection brings together the contemporary design of Goiás-native designer Marcus Camargo with techniques passed down through generations. The process values manual time, listening, and collective construction. The clay is made in Cidade de Goiás by the hands of master artisan Luiza Pessoa, who is part of the Mulheres Coralinas Association, and the dome is woven from Taquara straw by artisan Lucilene in Corumbá de Goiás. The seemingly opposing materials feel in harmony with the brass details. The designs of the pieces are part of the designer's research on the flowers and fruits of the Cerrado, which is why the collection is named Pequi, a very specific and traditional fruit of the Cerrado culture.
