The CIPÓ drawing collection @julianapippi for @itens_ emerged in 2023 from the desire to create and combine natural elements such as sisal rope and the delicacy of blown glass. Free from patterns, our CIPÓ ROPE "plays" with organic shapes, creating compositions at different heights, colors, and formats in the lighting points, where each project becomes unique like a work of art.

The creative possibilities in the composition are endless, revealing a little of the personality not only of the person who created the piece, but also of the client and/or interior designer who will customize the installation of each CIPÓ as a sculptural work of art.

The artisanally blown spheres are true jewels for the home and contrast with the rusticity of the ropes, whose braids guided by electrified cables lead to luxurious finishes of materials such as brass, copper, nickel, and painted metal. Made to order, the spheres have an enormous possibility of colors and a unique pattern. The ropes are sold by the meter and can be assembled in composition or individually, in an unusual combination of ropes with and without luminous spheres.

“The CIPÓ line is a poem, an invitation, and a stimulus to creativity. Its creation gave us delightful moments alongside Ju, a professional who has believed in and specified our products since the creation of @itens_ and whom we had wanted to have on our team of collaborating designers for a long time. We strongly identify with Juliana's aesthetics, color, culture, and joy. We started talking in early 2023, and by May, we already had the first designs. She wanted a rope lamp for a specific hotel project, working with a minimalist line with elegant rusticity. We combined the ideas, spent hours talking, and complemented the ropes with my desire to work with colored blown glass spheres, a memory of a trip I took to Mexico where I was enchanted by the colorful glass pendants of the lamps,” says Mariana.

After the launch of CIPÓ CORDA, architects and clients requested an entirely metal or brass version, so they could have a slightly more sophisticated alternative to the line. Thus, the CIPÓ PENDANT was born. From its first designs in October 2023 until its official launch at SP-ARTE 2024, the line evolved into three more pendant models and several types of sconces, all special and unique designs.
