GUARDA-CHUVA
Designed in 2016 by Ana Neute the GUARDA-CHUVA lampshade would gain over the years with the creative direction of the estudio itens a collection including a floor lamp, ceiling light, and wall light.
Its shape is very close to a classic lamp: base, stem, and dome in half sphere. An icon incorporated for many years in the universe of luminaires. However, intervention in this pure model is inserted: a glass globe on top of the lamp. This subtle operation makes the piece both familiar and contemporary. The glass globe produces a soft light, creating a cozy atmosphere in the environment. While the dome directs and concentrates the light downwards, emitting a direct and functional light. The GUARDA-CHUVA collection was a finalist for the 2017 CASA VOGUE DESIGN AWARD and was exhibited in Miami at Luminaire's EVERGREEN BRASIL exhibition in 2017.
